Privacy Policy
Ledger Clarity LLC ("Ledger Clarity," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit ledgerclarity.com or engage our services, how we use it, and your choices about that information.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us — name, email, phone number, business name, approximate revenue, and anything you write to us through our contact form, scheduling tool, or email.
- Information collected automatically — standard web analytics including IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate location, gathered via Google Analytics 4 and similar tools.
- Information from engagements — once you become a client, the financial records, supporting documents, and account access required to perform our services.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule strategy calls.
- To deliver bookkeeping, advisory, and CFO services we have agreed to provide.
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for third-party advertising.
3. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Service providers we use to run our business — including our CRM (AccountGroove), accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online), email and scheduling tools, and analytics providers. Each is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Your authorized representatives — for example, your CPA, attorney, or bank, when you instruct us to share.
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
4. Cookies & analytics
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not work as expected without them.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — including encrypted file transfer, multi-factor authentication on financial platforms, and access controls scoped to need-to-know. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Data retention
We retain client financial records for the period required by law and our engagement agreements, typically seven years. Prospect and inquiry data is retained for up to three years, then deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email natalie@ledgerclarity.com.
8. Children
Our services are directed to businesses, not individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
